Molchanovs Wave 1 Requirements for Completion:

  • Theory 1: 80% Passing rate in the online exam
  • Lap 1: Pool
  1. STA (Static Breath Hold) - 1 minute and 30 seconds
  2. DYNB (Dyanamic Dive with Fins) - 30 meters distance
  3. STA Buddying and Rescue
  4. DYNB Buddying and Rescue
  5. Other Pool Skills
  • Wave 1: Open Water
  1. FIM (Free Immersion) - 12 to 20 meters depth
  2. CWTB (Constant Weight Bi Fins) - 12 to 20 meters depth
  3. Budding and Rescue: 6 to 10 meters depth
  4. Other Open Water Skills


Couse Prerequisites: 200 meters swim (for survival purposes)
